Proposes an amendment to Article 1, Section 5 of the Hawaii Constitution to expand the list of protected classes from discrimination.

Adds explicit constitutional protections against discrimination based on ethnicity, age, disability, national ancestry, sexual orientation, gender identity, and pregnancy and pregnancy outcomes.

Removes the bracketed language "[sex or]" and replaces it with "sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or pregnancy and pregnancy outcomes" to clarify and expand protections.

Requires the amendment to be submitted to voters as a constitutional question on the ballot asking whether the state constitution should be amended to clarify non-discrimination protections.

Amendment takes effect upon compliance with Article XVII, Section 3 of the Hawaii Constitution.
