Establishes alternative pathways to CPA licensure by reducing the educational barrier of 30 additional semester hours beyond a bachelor's degree.

Allows applicants with at least 18 semester hours of upper-division or graduate-level accounting or auditing subjects to substitute 12 months of professional public accounting experience for the 30 semester hour requirement.

Reduces the required professional experience for CPA licensure from multiple options to a single requirement of two years of professional experience in public accountancy practice.

Repeals Section 466-5.5, which previously required 150 total semester hours of college education for CPA licensure effective December 31, 2000.

Takes effect upon approval.
