Amends Hawaii Revised Statutes Section 846-2.5(b) to include persons issued citations (in addition to penal summonses) for criminal offenses who are convicted or granted deferred acceptance of guilty or nolo contendere plea or conditional discharge in the Attorney General's identification processing system.

Requires courts to order such persons to report within seven days to the appropriate police department, sheriff's office, or other governmental agency for identification processing, including fingerprinting and photographing.

Makes failure to comply with a court order for identification processing a criminal contempt of court violation under Section 710-1077.

Applies to criminal cases initiated via citations that result in conviction, deferred acceptance of guilty or nolo contendere plea, or conditional discharge.

Takes effect upon approval.
