SB 1369 Summary

• Amends quarterly net solvency report filing deadlines for mutual benefit societies, health maintenance organizations, and dental insurers from 45 days after each quarter to 45 days after the first three calendar quarters, with the fourth quarter report due by March 1 of the following year.

• Changes language requiring organizations to "prepare or produce" reports to "prepare and submit" reports for commissioner review.

• Updates penalty language in statutes 432:1-407 and 432D-8 from "not less than" and "not more than" to "no less than" and "no more than" for consistency.

• Applies to Hawaii Revised Statutes chapters 432 (Mutual Benefit Societies), 432D (Health Maintenance Organizations), and 432G (Dental Insurance).

• Takes effect October 1, 2025.
