HI SB1615

Requires the Department of Education, in coordination with the Department of Health, to develop a fireworks education and marketing program focused on fireworks safety.

Mandates implementation of the program in all Department of Education schools and charter schools, with distribution of the program to private kindergarten and grade schools in the State.

Requires each charter school to implement the fireworks education and marketing program developed jointly by the Department of Education and Department of Health.

Directs the charter school commission to cooperate with the Department of Education in assisting with program implementation.

Takes effect on July 1, 2025.
