Requires the Department of Accounting and General Services (DAGS) to conduct a feasibility study on establishing dedicated child care centers in state buildings.

Study must include estimates of planning, design, and construction costs for implementing child care centers in state facilities.

Study shall develop selection criteria for suitable state buildings, design standards for child care centers, operator qualification procedures, and identify responsible administrative agencies.

Selection criteria must consider child welfare and safety, facility location, available space suitability, outdoor recreation areas, vehicle circulation patterns, and impact on existing child care providers.

DAGS must submit findings, recommendations, and any proposed legislation to the Legislature no later than twenty days before the 2027 regular legislative session.
