Establishes the Aloha Intelligence Institute within the University of Hawaii under the office of the vice president for research and innovation to develop artificial intelligence research and initiatives statewide.

Institute shall facilitate interdisciplinary AI research in areas including climate resilience, sustainable agriculture, health care, renewable energy, creative media, advanced manufacturing, and cultural preservation.

Institute shall foster AI training and education programs including undergraduate and graduate degrees, workforce development, K-12 outreach, and create student pathways aligned with the Department of Education.

Institute led by a director with an advisory board comprising representatives from UH system, state agencies, technology and business sectors, nonprofit organizations, and Native Hawaiian cultural experts.

Appropriates unspecified amounts from general revenues for fiscal years 2025-2026 and 2026-2027 to fund 10.0 FTE permanent positions and administrative staff, with effective date of July 31, 2050.
