Appropriates funds to the State Historic Preservation Division of the Department of Land and Natural Resources to develop a comprehensive statewide inventory of historic properties and burial sites.

Funds designated for state-of-the-art archaeological surface surveys using remote sensing, aerial, and satellite imagery; collection of burial site location data; and development of an inventory of historic buildings, structures, and other properties.

Appropriation amounts are left blank in the bill text, with funding to be deposited into and expended from the Hawaii Historic Preservation Special Fund for fiscal years 2025-2026 and 2026-2027.

Addresses the legislature's finding that comprehensive statewide inventories are critical for protecting historic properties and burial sites, and that incomplete data delays project planning for developers and state/county agencies.

Effective date is July 1, 2050.
