S.B. 187 Summary

• Transfers the Ewa Beach Public and School Library from the State Public Library System to James Campbell High School, located at 91-950 North Road, Ewa Beach, Hawaii 96706.

• All rights, powers, functions, and duties of the state public library system regarding the Ewa Beach library are transferred within the Department of Education.

• Civil service employees transferred by this Act retain their civil service status, salary, seniority, vacation and sick leave credits, and other benefits without loss.

• All appropriations, records, equipment, supplies, contracts, books, and other property related to the Ewa Beach library are transferred with the functions to the Department of Education.

• The Act takes effect upon approval.
