Establishes an advisory commission within the Department of Accounting and General Services to propose names or name changes for state buildings, parks, facilities, and events.

Commission shall consist of nine members: three appointed from nominees of the House speaker, three from Senate president nominees, one from the state historic preservation division (ex officio voting member), one from Hawaiinuiakea school of Hawaiian knowledge (ex officio voting member), and one public representative.

Members serve four-year terms without compensation but receive reimbursement for travel and necessary expenses; governor appoints the chairperson from among members.

Department of Accounting and General Services shall provide staff support including clerical assistance; department may include a cultural advisor if applicable.

Commission shall adopt rules under chapter 91 and submit all naming proposals to the governor for consideration.
