Establishes a working group within the Hawaii Housing Finance and Development Corporation to identify existing mixed-use developments in Maui County that could be acquired for affordable housing and commercial rental leases.

Working group membership includes the HHFDC board chairperson (chair), Maui County housing director, REALTORS Association of Maui president, and four additional members with expertise in financing, construction/permitting, and nonprofit housing organizations appointed by legislative leaders.

Members serve without compensation but receive reimbursement for reasonable expenses including travel.

Requires the working group to submit findings, recommendations, and any proposed legislation to the legislature no later than twenty days before the 2026 regular session convenes.

Working group dissolves upon adjournment of the 2026 regular legislative session; effective date July 1, 3000.
