Amends Section 205-6(d) of Hawaii Revised Statutes to authorize the Land Use Commission to designate another agency to monitor compliance with special permit restrictions.

Permits the Land Use Commission to delegate monitoring responsibilities to the Office of Planning and Sustainable Development, Department of Agriculture, or Agribusiness Development Corporation.

Applies to special permits for land greater than fifteen acres or lands designated as important agricultural lands that require Land Use Commission approval.

Takes effect upon approval.
