Require the Department of Education to establish a Korean language program to be offered at all public school complexes in Hawaii.

Korean language program shall expose students to the language and culture, prepare them for future careers, develop structured curriculum, train teachers, and use innovative teaching methods including K-Pop, stories, viral videos, and dance.

Appropriate funds from general revenues for fiscal years 2025-2026 and 2026-2027 to establish the program, including curriculum development and creation of necessary teacher positions (specific dollar amount left blank in bill text).

Legislation takes effect on July 1, 2025.
