Extends the sunset date of the State Rent Supplement Program for Kupuna from June 30, 2026 to June 30, 2028.

Amends Act 98, Session Laws of Hawaii 2023, Section 6 to delay the repeal date of the kupuna rent supplemental program by two years.

Addresses the legislature's finding that kupuna on fixed incomes face significant homelessness risk due to dramatic statewide rental price increases.

Maintains continued access to rent supplement assistance for qualified kupuna who are homeless or at imminent risk of homelessness.

Takes effect upon approval.
