Urges the Safe Routes to School Advisory Committee to collaborate with the Department of Education, Department of Transportation, and County of Hawaii to inventory bus stops on Hawaii Island used by school children and develop safety improvement strategies.

Requires the inventory assessment to include sidewalk and crosswalk conditions, lighting and visibility, traffic patterns, proximity to high-speed roadways, shelter and seating availability, adequacy of current bus routes, and other potential hazards.

Requests the Committee develop recommendations for safety enhancements including infrastructure improvements, traffic calming measures, additional bus routes, and community engagement initiatives.

Directs the County of Hawaii to use its Safe Routes to School program funding to support the Committee's inventory and safety improvement efforts.

Requires submission of findings and recommendations, including a prioritized list of bus stops needing immediate safety improvements, to the Legislature no later than twenty days before the 2026 Regular Session.
