Requests the Department of Transportation to designate Kalaeloa Airport as the Abigail K.K. Kawananakoa Airport.

Kalaeloa Airport began operations in the 1940s for civilian and military aviation services and was transferred to state control in July 1999 to serve Hawaii's general aviation community.

Honors Abigail Kinoiki Kekaulike Kawananakoa, a descendant of the Kalakaua dynasty and great-granddaughter of James Campbell, for her lifetime of philanthropic support to Native Hawaiian cultural preservation including the Merrie Monarch Festival, Aha Punana Leo Hawaiian Language Revitalization Program, and Iolani Palace.

The airport's location in ahupuaa o Honouliuli connects to both James Campbell and Prince Jonah Kuhio Kalanianaole, whose legacies include the James Campbell Industrial Park, Kapolei, James Campbell High School, and the Department of Hawaiian Home Lands.

Requires certified copies be sent to the U.S. Secretary of Transportation, Federal Aviation Administration Administrator, Hawaii Governor, Director of Transportation, Mayor of Honolulu, and Honolulu Department of Design and Construction Director.
