Requests the Attorney General to assess whether General Lease No. 231 between the Department of Hawaiian Home Lands and the National Park Service has been substantially or materially breached.

Cites the National Park Service's recent firing of approximately 1,000 employees and concerns about the agency's ability to fulfill its obligations to the State, including stewardship of state lands.

Requests the Attorney General to determine whether the lease should be rescinded or amended in light of the State's anticipated transfer of Kalawao County to the County of Maui upon the passing of the last patient in the park.

Directs certified copies of the resolution be sent to the Attorney General, Hawaiian Homes Commission Chairperson, Director of Health, and Chairperson of the Board of Land and Natural Resources.
