Request the Airports Division of the Department of Transportation to convene a task force to study the feasibility of creating a state airports corporation to manage Hawaii's airport system.

Task force membership must include representatives from the Department of Transportation, Hawaii Tourism Authority, legislative committees with transportation jurisdiction, airline industry, labor unions, airport businesses, and other relevant stakeholders.

Task force directed to analyze potential advantages and disadvantages of an airports corporation, including impacts on airport operations, governance, staffing, facilities quality, and overall effectiveness.

Task force must submit findings and recommendations to the Legislature no later than twenty days before the 2026 Regular Session convenes.

Certified copies of the resolution to be transmitted to the Governor, Director of Transportation, Senate President, House Speaker, and Hawaii Tourism Industry CEO.
