Urges the Honolulu Ocean Safety Department to implement a drone training program to enhance lifeguard operations and marine life monitoring.

Identifies benefits of drone programs including detection of marine life, search and rescue improvements, delivery of flotation devices, and aerial surveillance during ocean emergencies.

Notes that the Honolulu Fire Department already operates a successful drone program for ocean-related emergency responses.

References November 2024 drone footage that revealed hundreds of sandbar sharks in Nanakuli and over 100 shark warning signs posted on Oahu in 2024.

Requires certified copies of the resolution be transmitted to the Mayor, Managing Director, and Director of the Honolulu Ocean Safety Department.
