Request that each county police department in Hawaii purchase and deploy explosion detection technology to locate and respond to explosions from illegal firearms and fireworks use.

Require each county Chief of Police to ensure appropriate training is provided to officers on the use of explosion detection technology equipment.

Direct certified copies of the resolution to be transmitted to the Mayor, County Council Chair, and Chief of Police of each county.
