• Department of Education requested to implement a three-year pilot program shortening school hours on Fridays at one elementary school, one middle or intermediate school, and one high school to allow students additional homework time.

• Pilot program aims to assess impact of shortened Friday hours on student academic performance, time management skills, and overall well-being across different grade levels.
