Requests the Hawaii Department of Transportation and Maui County Department of Public Works to collaborate with the Kihei Community Association on planning and implementing the Kihei Mauka Road project.

Directs the collaboration to include regular consultations with the Kihei Community Association to incorporate community feedback, address environmental concerns, and ensure alignment with the Kihei-Makena Community Plan.

Acknowledges Kihei's transportation challenges including frequent flooding and road closures, and identifies the Kihei Mauka Road as an alternative route to reduce congestion on South Kihei Road.

Recognizes the Kihei Community Association's priority for completing the North-South Collector Road segment by 2025 to enhance connectivity and support smart growth.

Requires certified copies of the resolution be transmitted to the Director of Transportation, Director of Public Works of the County of Maui, and President of the Kihei Community Association.
