Urges the Department of Land and Natural Resources Division of Forestry and Wildlife to prioritize restoration and protection of additional wetlands in Hawaii.

Requests the Division of Agricultural Resources apply protective policies afforded to wetlands to the State's anchialine pools to prevent degradation of rare ecosystems and species.

Directs the Division to prioritize wetlands protection over development concerns where feasible, specifically including wetlands in Kihei on the Island of Maui.

Identifies wetlands' benefits including enhancing wildfire and drought resistance, reducing flood magnitude, providing endangered species habitat, and filtering runoff to protect coral reefs and ocean activities.

Requires certified copies of the resolution be transmitted to the Chair of the Board of Land and Natural Resources, Administrator of the Division of Forestry and Wildlife, and Native Ecosystem Protection and Management Manager.
