Urges the County of Maui and Maui Emergency Management Agency, in conjunction with the Department of Transportation and Hawaii Emergency Management Agency, to develop and implement an evacuation route signage program for Maui County.

Program should incorporate best practices from other states and municipalities, including standardized signage, digital integration, and multilingual accessibility.

Requests collaboration between County of Maui and Department of Transportation to ensure signage placement aligns with existing evacuation plans and infrastructure.

Requests the County of Maui conduct public awareness campaigns to educate residents and visitors about designated evacuation routes and signage.

Directs certified copies be transmitted to the Governor, Director of Transportation, Hawaii Emergency Management Agency Administrator, Maui County Mayor, Maui County Council Chairperson, and Maui Emergency Management Agency Administrator.
