Requests the Department of Health to convene a task force to identify and develop minimum professional standards for community health worker training programs

Task force composition includes 14 categories of representatives: DOH chair, one community health worker from each county, representatives from Hawaii Public Health Institute, Hawaii Public Housing Authority, Med-QUEST Division, University of Hawaii–West Oahu, Kapiolani Community College, Healthcare Association of Hawaii, Hawaii Association of Health Plans, Papa Ola Lokahi, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander Community Health Worker Alliance, Hawaii Primary Care Association, and a community-based grassroots organization

Exempts task force members from Hawaii Revised Statutes chapter 84 solely based on their participation

DOH is requested to provide administrative support to the task force

Task force must submit a report to the Legislature with recommendations and any proposed legislation no later than twenty days before the Regular Session of 2026
