Request the Office of Hawaiian Affairs to conduct a study assessing its readiness and ability to assume stewardship of Mauna Ala (Royal Mausoleum of Hawaii), the final resting place for Hawaiian Kingdom monarchs established in 1865.

Require the Office of Hawaiian Affairs to submit findings and recommendations, including any proposed legislation, to the Legislature no later than twenty days prior to the 2026 Regular Session.

Direct the Office of Hawaiian Affairs to develop educational programs teaching the public about the history and cultural significance of Mauna Ala.

Request the Department of Land and Natural Resources to draft stewardship guidelines that integrate Hawaiian ike (knowledge) to ensure traditional cultural kuleana practices inform the Department's stewardship of the sacred grounds.

Transmit certified copies of the resolution to the Chief Executive Officer of the Office of Hawaiian Affairs and the Chairperson of the Board of Land and Natural Resources.
