Encourages the City and County of Honolulu to initiate a summer streets pilot program in the urban core of Honolulu and other interested neighborhoods.

Recognizes that summer streets programs temporarily transform streets and roadways to serve pedestrians, bicyclists, skateboarders, and other non-motorized users while enhancing recreation and cultural engagement.

Notes that summer streets programs have been successfully implemented worldwide for over 50 years and support local businesses, increase public participation, and promote physical activity.

States that summer streets programs align with Hawaii's goal of reducing carbon emissions by encouraging sustainable transportation and promoting community health.

Requires certified copies of the resolution be transmitted to the Mayor, Honolulu City Council members, the Neighborhood Commission Office, and all Neighborhood Board chairpersons.
