Urges the Department of Agriculture to collaborate with the Agribusiness Development Corporation regarding grant funding opportunities from the United States Department of Agriculture.

Aims to provide increased support for local agricultural organizations and entities through federal grant programs to promote sustainable agriculture in Hawaii.

References the Hawaii 2050 Sustainability Plan and the Aloha+ Challenge goal of increasing local food production for local consumption by 2030.

Acknowledges that expanded agricultural production may require additional land availability and labor resources to support production and distribution.

Requires certified copies of the resolution be transmitted to the Chairperson of the Board of Agriculture and Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Agribusiness Development Corporation.
