Encourages the Department of Education and Department of Law Enforcement to collaborate and enter into a memorandum of understanding for sheriffs to serve at public elementary school and state prekindergarten program campuses within the Campbell-Kapolei complex area.

Recognizes that young children lack the capacity to assess dangers posed by unauthorized individuals on campuses and that additional security personnel and school resource officers will improve campus safety.

Requests the Department of Education submit a report of findings, recommendations, and any proposed legislation to the Legislature no later than twenty days prior to the convening of the Regular Sessions of 2027 and 2028.

Requires certified copies of the resolution be transmitted to the Superintendent of Education and Director of Law Enforcement.
