Requests the Department of Human Services Med-QUEST Division to cover behavioral health services for children and adolescents in school-based settings

Identifies school-based behavioral health services as a means to improve access to care and enable early identification and treatment of mental health issues among children

Notes that school-based services reduce barriers to care by eliminating transportation and geographic obstacles while reducing caregiver burdens by removing the need for parents to take time off work

Directs certified copies of the resolution be transmitted to the Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Director of Human Services, Board of Education leadership, Department of Education leadership, Department of Health Director, and mental health division administrators
