Urges Hawaii Department of Agriculture and Maui County Department of Agriculture to implement policies making USDA-certified inspectors, inspections, and processing facilities more accessible and affordable for local hunters to sell or gift axis deer venison.

Requests policies to increase the number of in-state USDA-certified meat inspectors for game mammals.

Directs the two departments to establish a joint task force to develop and oversee a Maui County program coordinating with USDA-certified processing facilities to make axis deer meat processing affordable and distribute venison to the community.

Requires the joint task force to submit a report on program accomplishments, barriers, findings, and recommendations to the Legislature by November 30, 2025.

Directs certified copies of the resolution be sent to federal agriculture officials, state officials, Maui County officials, and the Maui County Council.
