Modifies the quorum requirement for the State Emergency Medical Services Advisory Committee from a majority of members to a fixed number of seven appointed members whose terms have not expired

The advisory committee consists of 20 members total: 3 nonvoting ex-officio members (director of transportation, adjutant general, and state health planning administrator) and 17 governor-appointed members representing all counties

Appointed members include 5 physicians experienced in emergency medical services, 4 health care consumers, 4 allied health professionals, and 4 mobile intensive care technicians or EMTs (one from each county)

A majority vote of members present at a meeting where quorum is established remains required to validate any committee action
