Expands campaign contribution prohibitions to cover state and county grant recipients (under chapter 42F or county charter/code) in addition to contractors, banning contributions from grant application through contract completion

Prohibits owners, officers, consultants, and joint account holders of state/county contractors and grantees from making direct or indirect contributions to candidate or noncandidate committees during the contract period

Adds leasing of property to the types of contracts covered by the existing contribution ban alongside personal services, buying property, furnishing materials/supplies/equipment, and selling land/buildings

Creates new prohibition against contractors knowingly providing "something of value" (including advertisements) to candidates, candidate committees, or noncandidate committees for political purposes

Takes effect upon approval
