Amends Hawaii Revised Statutes Section 453-4.5 to modify licensing requirements for graduates of foreign medical schools

Allows one year of fellowship training at an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME)-accredited program or hospital to substitute for one of the three required years of medical training or experience

Foreign medical graduates must still pass the Federation Licensing Examination (FLEX) or United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) with board-satisfactory scores

Applicants must have passed the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates qualifying examination prior to 1984

Takes effect upon approval by the Governor
