Extends the statute of limitations for filing discrimination complaints with the Hawaii Civil Rights Commission from 180 days to one year after the alleged unlawful practice occurred or the last occurrence in an ongoing pattern of discrimination

Amends Section 368-11 of the Hawaii Revised Statutes to implement the extended filing deadline

Applies to complaints regarding unlawful discriminatory practices under Hawaii state civil rights law

Effective date set for July 1, 3000 (placeholder date)
