Prohibits minimum off-street parking requirements for any new development or redevelopment project located within transit-oriented development infrastructure improvement program areas established under section 206E-243

Accessible parking stalls for persons with disabilities remain required under the Americans with Disabilities Act, Fair Housing Act, and other applicable laws

Developers and property owners retain discretion to voluntarily provide off-street parking in these areas

Counties maintain authority to adopt maximum parking requirements or other policies limiting parking amounts in transit-oriented development areas

Effective date set for July 1, 3000 (placeholder date indicating further legislative action needed)
