Hawaii Climate Change Mitigation and Adaptation Commission must develop and maintain a centralized resource website to connect residents with programs addressing affordability, health, safety, and climate change impacts.

The website will serve as a single starting point to access and apply for assistance programs related to housing, utilities, food security, transportation, health care, and other basic needs.

Resources consolidated on the site will help low- to moderate-income households offset costs of climate preparedness, improve energy efficiency, reduce utility bills, and recover from extreme weather events.

General fund appropriations are authorized for fiscal year 2026-2027, with amounts to be specified for website development, implementation, and maintenance, with unencumbered funds lapsing on June 30, 2028.

The website is modeled after Seattle's Assistance and Discounts website to address fragmented access to climate action and financial support programs.
