Requires the Hawaii Board of Education to adopt a statewide heat acclimatization and practice policy for all K-12 students in public and charter schools, based on the Hawaii Athletic Trainers Association's 2017 Heat Acclimatization and Practice Policy.

Mandates use of wet-bulb globe temperature measurements to determine thresholds for modifying, postponing, or canceling outdoor activities including sports practices, games, and recess.

Policy must include protocols for hydration, staff training on recognizing heat illness symptoms, safeguards for students with conditions affecting thermoregulation, and requirements for acclimatizing students returning after absences.

Appropriates unspecified funds for fiscal year 2026-2027 to provide wet-bulb globe temperature thermometers to all public schools and charter schools statewide, meeting Korey Stringer Institute performance standards.

Additional appropriations allocated for training and implementation of the policy by both the Department of Education and Public Charter School Commission.
