Requires Hawaii Department of Education to develop and implement a statewide artificial intelligence literacy curriculum for public school students in grades 11 and 12, beginning with the 2027-2028 school year.

Mandates completion of a minimum six-week AI literacy course as a graduation requirement, covering topics including AI fundamentals, machine learning, ethical implications, and the school's AI use policy.

Establishes an Advisory Council for Artificial Intelligence Education composed of local AI industry representatives to develop teacher certification programs, provide ongoing education, and curate resources for schools.

Creates a three-year AI Education Grant Pilot Program with $5,000,000 appropriated for fiscal year 2026-2027 to fund teacher training and development of culturally responsive curriculum materials.

Requires each public school to develop an AI policy in consultation with parents and the community outlining acceptable and ethical use of AI tools by students and staff.
