Time share registration renewal applications will be automatically deemed approved 30 days after the Director of Commerce and Consumer Affairs receives all required documents.

Amendments to time share plan registrations (except those adding or removing inventory) will be automatically approved by operation of law on the 60th day after submission, unless the director issues a deficiency letter before that deadline.

Deficiency letters must list all deficiencies in sufficient detail to enable applicants to address them, and if no letter is issued within 60 days, the director must provide written confirmation of approval within 10 business days upon request.

Developers are no longer required to submit a current disclosure statement as part of registration renewals, and financial statements and title insurance policies are also exempted from renewal applications.

The act takes effect July 1, 3000, and does not affect rights, duties, penalties, or proceedings that existed before the effective date.
