Extends the sunset date for Act 213 (2024 habitual violent crime law) from June 30, 2027 to June 30, 2031, allowing more time to assess the law's effectiveness in deterring repeat violent offenders.

Requires the Attorney General, in consultation with the Criminal Justice Research Institute, to submit annual reports to the legislature beginning in 2027 on the effectiveness of habitual violent crime provisions.

Annual reports must include data on arrests, charges, and case outcomes for habitual violent crime offenders, including trials, plea agreements, convictions, and incarcerations.

Mandates county prosecuting attorneys to provide relevant data to the Attorney General by December 1 each year to compile the reports.

Requires the Criminal Justice Research Institute to submit a one-time comprehensive report analyzing the law's effectiveness in reducing violent crime prior to the 2031 legislative session.
