Requires hotelkeepers to provide portable panic buttons to hospitality workers who work in guest rooms, restrooms, or other isolated conditions where they face increased risk of harassment and assault.

Panic buttons must immediately summon assistance from security guards, other workers, or supervisors and be designed to function effectively in the worker's physical environment.

Hospitality workers covered include those who clean guest rooms or restrooms, deliver meals to private rooms, or perform maintenance or front desk operations.

Hotelkeepers must provide annual training on proper use and limitations of panic buttons to covered workers.

Compliance deadline is January 1, 2027, with the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations directed to adopt implementing rules.
