Appropriates $2,300,000 from the works of art special fund for fiscal year 2026-2027 to commission and acquire works of art for display in state buildings and public spaces.

Appropriates $1,700,000 from general revenues for fiscal year 2026-2027 for maintenance, upkeep, and preservation of the State's public art and collections, including conservation services and environmental controls.

Establishes one full-time permanent collections manager position within the State Foundation on Culture and the Arts, funded at $106,548.

Increases the ceiling of the works of art special fund to enable the foundation to fulfill current and projected requests for commissioned works of art from state agencies, schools, libraries, and other public facilities.

Takes effect on July 1, 2026.
