Appropriates unspecified funds for fiscal years 2025-2026 and 2026-2027 for grants to help low-income residents (earning 80% or less of area median income) fortify their homes against hurricanes

Grants for single-family homes range from $25,000 to $50,000, while condominium owners may receive up to $10,000 for hurricane-resistant windows and doors

Office of the Governor will oversee and administer the grant program in collaboration with the Insurance Division of the Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs

Recipients are prohibited from applying for any other hurricane fortification funds
