Prohibits the sale of leaf blowers, string trimmers, and weed whackers that do not meet the ANSI B-175.2 class 1 noise rating beginning July 1, 2028

Increases violation fines from $50/$100/$200 to $100 for first offense, $250 for second offense, and $500 for each subsequent violation

Requires government entities to only purchase leaf blowers, string trimmers, and weed whackers meeting the ANSI B-175.2 class 1 rating starting July 1, 2028

Maintains existing operating hour restrictions in urban residential zones: 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on weekdays, 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Sundays and holidays

Adds "string trimmer" as a defined term and allows counties to adopt stricter local regulations
