Requires managing agents for residential condominium properties exceeding 75 feet in height to have commercial property management experience

Amends Section 514B-132 of the Hawaii Revised Statutes governing managing agent requirements for associations of apartment owners (AOAO)

Addresses concerns that volunteer AOAO board members lack the expertise of professional property management companies while being held to the same standards as commercial buildings

Current law only requires managing agents to be licensed real estate brokers, with no requirement for commercial property management experience

Takes effect upon approval by the Governor
