Provides a one-time hazard pay bonus to state employees in bargaining units 5, 6, and 7 who worked during the COVID-19 pandemic and faced heightened exposure risks

Extends the same hazard pay bonus to state officers and employees excluded from collective bargaining but belonging to the same compensation plans as units 5, 6, and 7

Appropriates unspecified amounts from general revenues for fiscal year 2025-2026, with separate allocations for each bargaining unit and their excluded counterparts

Eligibility requires employment in the specified bargaining units or equivalent compensation plans during a time period to be determined (dates left blank in the bill)

Takes effect July 1, 2025, with funds to be allotted by the director of finance to appropriate state departments
