Requires all health insurance policies and hospital/medical service plan contracts issued or renewed after January 1, 2026, to cover traditional Native Hawaiian healing and cultural practices when provided at federally qualified health centers or Native Hawaiian health care systems

Traditional practices covered include ho'oponopono, lomilomi massage, 'ai pono (proper diet), and lā'au lapa'au (herbal medicine)

Cost-sharing requirements (copayments, deductibles, coinsurance) must be no less favorable than those applied to other medical services covered by the policy

Out-of-network providers must be covered without cost-sharing if no in-network provider meets network adequacy requirements or cannot provide services in a timely manner

Insurers must provide written notice to policyholders about this coverage by December 31, 2026
