Creates a refundable income tax credit of up to $500 for homeowners who install, place into service, or repair a water catchment system on their residential property in Hawaii

Provides the same tax credit (up to $500) for homeowners who purchase water delivery services of at least 250 gallons of water during the taxable year

Taxpayers may claim only one credit type per year: either for water catchment system costs or water delivery service costs

Water catchment systems must have a minimum storage capacity of 1,000 gallons to qualify for the credit

Applies to taxable years beginning after December 31, 2025, with claims due within 12 months of the close of the taxable year
