Urges the Hawaii Department of Education to strengthen menstrual health education and adopt a comprehensive curriculum covering grades 5, 8, and 12 with age-appropriate goals.

Proposes curriculum based on four pillars of menstrual dignity: privacy, inclusivity, access, and education that is culturally responsive, gender-affirming, and multilingual.

Cites 2022 Hoohanohano Initiative data showing only 8% of school faculty found existing period education adequate, while 50% of students said it was inadequate.

Requires curriculum to include Native Hawaiian cultural practices alongside Western views, address period poverty impacts, debunk myths, and teach management of menstruation-related health conditions.

Requests the Department of Education submit a progress report to the Legislature no later than 20 days before the 2027 Regular Session.
